Room 1 - White house Twin
This downstairs room is well suited to teenagers or older couples, and has twin beds, views of the hills, morning sun oriented and an ensuite bathroom with a bath tub. Shared facilities include a kitchen-cum-dining room with a big wooden table, a traditional ceramic fireplace and brown leather armchairs, and a separate living area with its own fireplace, cream sofas, library and a glass wall facing the garden.
Room 2 - White house Loft Twin
This room set in the loft has twin beds, a bathroom with a shower and separate toilet, and views of the hills and the fortified church. This room shares a kitchen-cum-dining room with a big wooden table, a traditional ceramic fireplace and brown leather armchairs, and a separate living area with fireplace, cream sofas, library and a glass wall facing the garden.
Room 3 - White house Loft Double
The master bedroom is set in the loft, with exposed wooden beams and a comfy double bed piled high with blankets. This room has an ensuite bathroom with a bath tub. This room shares a kitchen-cum-dining room with a big wooden table, a traditional ceramic fireplace and brown leather armchairs, and a separate living area with fireplace, cream sofas, library and a glass wall facing the garden.
Room 4 - White house Blue Room - Double
In what was once the summer kitchen, next to the White House, there's now a spacious blue bedroom with a striking brick furnace and a snug living area. The ensuite bathroom has a shower. This room overlooks the garden and has direct access to it. This room shares the White House's a kitchen-cum-dining room with a big wooden table, a traditional ceramic fireplace and brown leather armchairs, and a separate living area with fireplace, cream sofas, library and a glass wall facing the garden.
White house Exclusive Use for Two / for Four / for Six
The White House is a very romantic retreat in the center of the village in the middle of a 19th century rural garden with climbing vines. The exclusive use of the house gives you the pleasure to fully enjoy intimacy in the use of the living room, dining, kitchen and garden. You can choose to sleep in the room you prefer. The Loft Double overlooking the garden with sunset view over the hills, the Blue Double with its transilvanian fire place, the Loft Twin with views over the fortified church and the Garden Twin. You will be treated with a private breakfast ready for when you wake up. This is the perfect solution for a private stay in Copsa Mare.
Room 5 - Red house Double
The Red House's master bedroom overlooks the fortified church, and has a wooden cabinet with painted flowers, a monochrome patterned rug and an ensuite bathroom with exposed beams on the ceiling (look out for the year 1783 carved into the wood above the shower). This room shares a living area, dining area and a kitchen with the twin room. As well as the private garden with outside table and veranda.
Room 6 - Red house Twin
Across the corridor from the double room, there's a twin room with green headboards, pink lamps and a big chest of drawers. This room has direct access to the veranda and garden. The bathrooms have bronze showers, imported from Italy. This house would be good for a family with two children. A tunnel once connected this building to the fortified church, providing secret access to the well when the village was under siege. Solid 50cm-thick walls provide insulation, as does double-glazing.
Red house Exclusive Use for Two
The Red House is the oldest house in the village and it is located just under the fortified church and in front of the secular lime tree which was the place where Saxon meetings used to take place. The house has its own living room with fire place, sunset veranda, dining room and kitchen. The private garden is shadowed by climbing vines, lilac trees and spiraea flowers. You can choose between the two rooms, the Red Double facing the fortified church or the Red Twin facing the garden with its own fire place. During the summer you can opt to enjoy your private breakfast in the garden under the apple tree overlooking the vine hills.
Room 7 - Yellow house Main Suite
The main house is now an independent comfortable suite perfect for those who wants absolute privacy but at the same time proximity to the guesthouse facilities.
A big luminous master bedroom with private bathroom and walking closet is connected to a cozy living room decorated with typical Transylvanian fire place. The private veranda is overlooking the Transylvanian hills and has direct access to the garden.
Room 8 - Yellow house Suite
In what used to be the summer kitchen, there is now a cozy suite with master bedroom, private bathroom and a small living room. An old white tile fire place warms up the atmosphere.
This suite has direct access to the garden where you can enjoy the sunset under the wine leaves and the comfort of being near the centralized facilities.
Room 9 - Green house Duplex for four
This apartment has been built in what used to be the summer kitchen of the Green House. It has an upstairs master bedroom and a downstairs twin bedroom sharing a private bathroom with bathtub. A beautiful Transylvanian traditional adobe kitchen and fireplace decorate the living room which has direct access to the big private garden where you can enjoy the view of the fortified church. A perfect and unique retreat for a family.
